A summary of information & requirements for beginners – for those who have dicided to pursue this hobby, and even those who are still undecided.
For those who have long dreamed of becoming more involved with bees, this course gives insight into that beekeeping entails.
It doesn´t help anyone (and dosn´t benefit the bees) if you are led to believe that this hobby requires little work and time. We now have enough „non-committed beekeepers“ (at least in Berlin).!
Keeping bees / being a beekeeper can be a lot of fun, but only if you take it seriously – i.e. have time for it. This introductory course demonstrates the prerequisites that beginners should have.
Nobody should be put off!
First and foremost, intersted parties should be enthusiastic about the new hobby of „beekeeping“.
